Throat Chakra Blockages – 5 Ways To Heal The Fifth Chakra
Your throat chakra is your fifth chakra located right by your throat and neck area. This is an important chakra for helping you to confidently speak your truth. It is where others hear your words. The throat chakra is blue in color.
If you have a powerful throat chakra, then people will listen to you. If it is weak then you will have a hard time speaking up. When you do people may not give you the attention you deserve or truly hear what you are saying. This chakra is where you express your ideas.
It is also how you communicate telepathically. Sometimes people will have trouble expressing their words verbally, so they think them and send them out telepathically. Even by thinking something, you can send it out telepathically to another person.
If you aren’t speaking your truth and holding back your words, then this chakra can shribble up. You will eventually start to get both emotional and physical issues if you don’t clear and balance the fifth chakra.
What Are Chakras?
Our chakras are our energy centers. They are vortexes of spinning energy that create who we are and what we do. Some individuals can even see the chakra centers in others. With practice, this information is available to anyone.
All your energy systems work together. Therefore, if one becomes blocked and unbalanced it can contribute to the rest of your chakras being out of balance.
If you have throat chakra blockages, then the chakras right beside it (the third eye chakra & heart chakra) will have to step up and take on some of the workload. The other chakras will have to step up to make up for the chakra that is unbalanced as the whole energy system will be thrown off.
It is important to make sure all of your chakras are balanced because they all work together in perfect harmony.

What Does an Open & Balanced Throat Chakra Look Like?
When your throat chakra is open and balanced you clearly communicate your words and others listen to what you have to say. You aren’t afraid to say what you want and are able to confidently speak your truth. You say kind words to yourself and others. Your neck and throat area feel good.
How Does Your Throat Chakra Become Imbalanced?
When you don’t speak up for yourself it can cause your throat chakra to become blocked. If you stop yourself from saying something that wants to come up, you put resistance into that energy center.
Also, when you speak harshly to yourself and others it can cause your throat chakra to become imbalanced because those words carry a certain vibration that isn’t beneficial to that energy center. Words carry vibrations and the more kindly you speak, the clearer your throat chakra will be as the energy of the words matches the energy of that chakra.

How to Heal and Bring Your Throat Chakra Back into Balance
1. Color Therapy – By focusing on the color blue, it will help to balance this chakra. You can wear blue clothes, paint your nails blue, look at blue pictures and look at the sky.
You are drawn to the colors you need in your life so if you naturally feel drawn to blue then it is a good indication that you need more blue in your life.
2. Go to a Professional – A reiki healer or another energy healer who knows how to balance chakras will be able to help you heal your throat chakra. You definitely can do it yourself but if you feel that you would benefit from someone else doing it more than yourself, then there are many energy healers who will be able to do it for you.
3. Heal Your Throat Chakra Yourself – You can heal your throat chakra yourself by visualizing a clear blue spinning disk by your throat and neck area. Visualize this chakra until it feels balanced. Notice if you see any weird shapes, muddiness, or holes in it. Once it feels balanced be sure to check in often to see if it needs to be re-balanced.
4. Speak Your Truth – If you continue to speak your truth often then it will keep this chakra activated and balanced. By speaking your truth, you will keep this chakra’s energy moving freely and prevent the energy from going stagnant.
5. Speak Kind Words to Yourself and Others – To balance this chakra, be sure to speak words that carry a high vibration that won’t muddy up the energy. Words with high vibration are kind, pleasant words. Bottom Line: Throat Chakra Blockages
It is important to always speak your truth in order to keep this chakra healthy and balanced. It is also a good idea to speak gently and kindly to yourself and others to keep this chakra vibrant. The throat chakra is so important because communication is a big part of our everyday lives.
If you are having trouble speaking your mind, then you will begin to feel powerless, and eventually, that will contribute to your solar plexus also being affected since that is where your personal power comes from.
I’ve found the best way to keep this chakra healthy is to always speak your truth. Even if you can’t speak it directly to the person it is meant for, speak it to a friend or a family member or your spirit guides. Holding your words in will affect the throat chakra. It may be scary to speak up, but it is worth it to save yourself from having to constantly clear this chakra.
