Is your law of attraction expectations different than what you think they should be?
You always get what you expect when it comes to the Law of Attraction whether you realize it or not.
Often you don’t know that what you are expecting to get is different than what you want. That is the part that trips up so many people. They think they are expecting something when deep down inside they are expecting the opposite to happen.
Or perhaps you receive something that you think you didn’t expect. But deep down inside you knew you’d get it.
I previously had an experience that I thought to myself “I didn’t expect that to happen.” I then went over what thoughts I had in my head before the experience and I realized that I got EXACTLY what I expected. It didn’t happen in the way I expected but it was exactly what I was anticipating to happen.
Are You Receiving Different Results Than You Expect?
Are you receiving different results than what you expect with the Law of Attraction? Really think about this. Do you expect to become a millionaire? If the answer is ‘no’ then you will get that.
Do you expect to get the job that you went for an interview at? If the answer is ‘yes’ then you will probably get it.
The problem is that we don’t always know what we expect. We think we expect something to happen but deep down inside we don’t think we’ll ever achieve it.
What Do You Expect to Receive?
Think about something that you want. How does it make you feel when you think about it? Are you excited or are you anxious and disappointed? This will tell you what you expect to receive.
You now know what your expectation is and why you aren’t getting what you want. You are expecting different results than what you actually want.
I know people who say that they’ll never get something they want and guess what, they are right! They don’t ever get what they want. They are telling the Universe what they expect and Law of Attraction is obeying their wishes and giving them exactly that.

How to Shift Your Mindset to Attract More of What You Want
Getting what you want can be as simple as changing your expectations. Do you start a new diet and expect it to work the same as the last one and end up in failure? If so then you need to change your expectations to achieve a different result.
Your mind literally attracts to you that which you are. So, if you are expecting to not lose weight but are going to try anyways then you probably won’t lose weight. You will be going through the actions, but law of attraction can’t yield to you something that is different than the vibration you are emanating. You need to expect the best in order to get the best.
I’m not going to lie, it isn’t easy. You’ve probably had these expectations for a while now, especially with the things you’ve wanted for a while. But by even changing one small expectation a day you can shift your outer reality to match what you want.
How to Change Your Law of Attraction Expectations & Get What You Want
1. Start Every Morning Setting Your Expectations
Every morning when you wake up, set your expectations for the day of what you want. Don’t worry if you don’t believe it – yet. Eventually, you will believe that you will receive this thing you want.
By setting an expectation, you are stating that this is how you want your day to go. Don’t stress if it doesn’t go exactly that way because it takes practice to line up your energy. But I guarantee by setting a positive expectation you will slightly shift your vibration and it will be a better day than waking up and setting a negative expectation. How you start off the day is really powerful and important as to how your day unfolds.
The most rewarding part of this process is when you have your energy shifted and lined up and your day goes just as expected; it feels amazing! You can say “I created that!” I lined up my energy and created my day as to how I wanted it to go and it worked. This really increases your confidence with the Law of Attraction and makes it easier to attract bigger things into your life.
2. Get Excited & Into the Receiving Mode
After you set your expectations for the day, get into the receiving mode. Become excited about receiving your manifestations. Don’t try and make anything happen, just get ready to receive that which you want.
If you don’t receive what you want on day 1 that is ok. Chances are it won’t happen that fast. But if you continually do it day after day you will receive what you want a lot faster than if you aren’t expecting it.
When you put yourself in the receiving mode, it shifts your whole vibration. It is like saying to the Universe “I asked for what I want and now I am allowing it to come into my life. I expect this thing is on its way to me.”
It is the same as placing an order in a restaurant. You know your food is coming to you and you don’t question if you are going to receive it. You don’t stress about how it is going to be prepared and you don’t force anything to happen. You simply order and wait in anticipation of receiving your food. You allow it to unfold in the least resistant way possible.
3. Try Setting an Emotion as An Expectation
Emotions manifest more quickly and easily than material things. So, I suggest that you try with an emotion first. This will build your confidence in your manifesting abilities. And yes, emotions are manifestations just as physical things are manifestations. Everything is energy and created via the Law of Attraction.
To give you an example, I set an expectation one morning to have a really fun day. I didn’t know how it would happen. I actually had an amazing day and that evening I had a laugh attack (which I haven’t had in a really long time.) So, I set a really simple expectation and since I had no resistance it happened very fast.
The less resistance you have to something, the faster it will flow into your experience. That is why the things you really want seem like they never happen. You have built up a ton of resistance and it is more difficult to receive them. But by setting a simple expectation every day, you will shift and soften your vibration and allow what you want to come into your life.

It is worth paying attention to your law of attraction expectations and setting them at the beginning of each day. What you expect to happen eventually happens so make sure you are expecting what you want, not what has happened or what could happen that might not be favorable.
Our minds are amazing at knowing what has happened, but they cannot possibly know how exactly something will happen in the future. It is not their job to know HOW it will happen. Their job is to set their intentions and allow them to manifest in the smoothest way possible.
The past is simply the past and you have the power to change anything you want in your life. Expect the best and you’ll receive the best!
