If you only do one thing as your morning ritual, I recommend it is affirmations. I’ve found this is one of the most powerful things you can do to start your day off right. They will not only make you feel good but also bring what you want to you via the law of attraction.
Your affirmations can be about a specific topic or more general things. They might be about creating your ideal body, increasing your happiness, finding peace, creating abundance, or achieving your ideal health.
Whatever you choose to incorporation into your morning ritual will be beneficial to you. Just make sure you are saying what you do want and not what you don’t want because, via the law of attraction, it will bring what you say to you.
For example, instead of saying, “I do not want to be broke’, try saying instead, “I am so happy and grateful now that I am abundant.”

Why Affirmations Are A Powerful Part of Your Morning Ritual
Words carry energy, whether you believe it or not. I never used to understand just how powerful they were until I did my 50-day Law of Attraction Experiment. This proved to me just how powerful words are.
You can transform your body, health, finances, relationships, and your whole life by saying different words. This is where affirmations come in. By saying words that carry a specific frequency (the one you are trying to attract into your life), you can gradually begin to move those things to you.
For example, if you are trying to attract money, you can say money affirmations and they begin to shift your energy into the frequency of money.
By saying positive affirmations for whatever you are trying to attract every morning, you will begin to attract those things to you.
The trick here is to make sure you are consistent. It is best to say them every morning (and night if you can) for at least 30 days. Ultimately, it is great to make it a part of your morning ritual forever so that you are always attracting the things you want to you.
Why not start your day off on the right foot by creating it the way you want?
Affirmations are amazingly powerful. If you have doubts, I highly recommend you try the 50-Day Law of Attraction Rice Experiment for yourself. You will have no doubts after that; I know I didn’t.
How to State Your Affirmations As Part of Your Morning Ritual
1. State What You Do Want
As I mentioned above, you want to say what you do want and not what you don’t want. Not only do the words of what you don’t want carry a lower vibration, but they also won’t help you to get what you want. They will make you feel bad by saying what you don’t want and therefore attract that to you.
For example, instead of saying, “I do not want to be overweight anymore”, change it to, “I am so happy and grateful now that I have my ideal body.”
Can you tell the difference in how the words make you feel? The first one feels disempowering and the second one feels empowering.
At first, the empowering one may make you feel uncomfortable if you aren’t used to having your ideal body or if you don’t believe it can happen for you. But, the more you say it, the more comfortable it will get and the more you’ll attract it to you. If the disempowering one feels more comfortable, it’s only because that is what you’ve been telling yourself so far, but now is the time to change it.
2. Include Both General & Specific Affirmations in Your Morning Ritual
The universe loves specific requests. For example, if you say, “I am so grateful now that I’m happy”, that is a good affirmation, however, the universe may not know exactly what to bring you. What is happiness? Is it enjoying an ice cream cone or is it receiving $10,000?
General affirmations work and are good however if you really want them to work in your favour to bring you what you want then you have to get specific. Write down exactly what you want, and the universe will not be confused about what to bring you.
Personally, I say both general and specific ones. However, I find the specific ones the most powerful ones.
Bottom Line: Make sure you have at least some specific affirmations in your list.
3. Say Your Affirmations as Present or Past Tense (Not Future)
When using affirmations in your morning ritual, it is important to state them as if they are happening now, or they have already happened.
When you say them in the future tense, it is as if they will never arrive. You want to feel like they are already here in your energy and you are already enjoying them. This will bring the energy of what you want to you NOW, not sometime in the future.
Different Ways to Do Affirmations as Part of Your Morning Ritual
1. Listen to Guided Affirmations
You can find many affirmations on YouTube or other platforms that have very positive messages in them. Be sure to search for the specific type of affirmations you want. Whether that is general positive morning affirmations or specific affirmations.
My favorite affirmations on YouTube are “I Am Abundance” & “I Am Morning Happiness.” These are both by Power Thoughts Meditation Club.
2. Speak Your Affirmations Each Day
When you say something out loud vs. silently it adds a new level of manifestation to it. It is almost as if you are making it more ‘real’.
When you say them silently, that is great, but you are holding them in which can signal that you may not completely believe in what you are saying.
If you can speak the words out loud you are stating to yourself and to the universe that this is the way it is. It is even better if you can read them in front of a mirror and look into your own eyes while you are saying them.
This may be a bit uncomfortable at first but the more you do it the easier it will get. Eventually, it will be one morning ritual that you will really enjoy and won’t want to miss doing.
If you can, try to bring some energy and emotion to them as you say them. This will help to speed up the process of manifesting what you want into your life.
3. Write Out Your Affirmations
Another great way to use affirmations every day is to write them out daily. Speaking is great but when you are writing them out in your own handwriting it adds a deeper element to them.
You are stating that “this is the way it is.” It’s on paper and it’s concrete. It’s almost like you are creating a daily contract with them and therefore bringing them into your experience.
I know writing them out every day can be a lot (depending on how many you have). Even if you can pick 3-5 that are your favorite and write those ones out every day that will be a great start. Or you could write out 5 today and then 5 new ones tomorrow and keep rotating through them. Or take one day a week and write all of them. It’s really up to you!
4. Record Your Affirmations in Your Own Voice
While listening to affirmations from someone else is great, it can be even more powerful to listen to you speaking them in your own voice. If you don’t feel like saying them every day or just want a new way to consume them, a great alternative is to record yourself saying them in your own voice.
When you listen in your own voice it almost makes them a bit more believable because it is you saying them.
It is a very powerful morning ritual to listen to your affirmations while you are getting ready in the morning. This is one of the best things you can do for yourself to start your day out on the right track. You will feel empowered and ready to take on anything that happens in the day!
Bottom Line – If You Can Only Have One Morning Ritual, Make It Be This One
Morning affirmations are super powerful for starting your day off right and attracting what you want to you. Words carry a vibration and that energy will be incorporated into your life the more you say it. So why not use affirmations to bring you what you want?
If you only do one thing in the morning as a ritual, I recommend it is affirmations. Get specific and write down what you want and who you want to be.
Do this for at least 30-days and see how your life starts to transform around you. You will attract the things that are on your affirmation list to you.
Affirmations are one of the most powerful morning rituals you can use to create what you want and bring what you want to you.

I love this post. From first-hand experience, I can tell that the times where I wasn’t doing affirmations were also the times where my life wasn’t improving but rather getting worse. Now I thankfully do them every morning and every evening right around sleep and it makes all the difference in raising your vibration, growing as a person, changing your life, and feeling amazing. The 4 techniques here are so powerful, especially when you combine some of them into 1 ritual.
I once heard someone say “If you say a lie often enough, you will start to believe it.” And couple that with what William James said: “Believe and your belief will create the fact”. Affirmations are truly powerful.
Thanks Jakub!
I love that you do affirmations before bed also because that is a great way to get them deep into your subconscious before you sleep.
So true, telling yourself something enough times will make you believe it 🙌
