The Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is a great way to see and measure where your frequency is at. If you are into the law of attraction and manifesting, then you know that raising your vibration helps you to attract more of what you want.
How you feel internally creates your external reality. So, understanding and connecting the dots is really powerful in helping you to manifest what you want.
If you can recognize how you are feeling and what is manifesting, then you can adjust (or keep the same energy) to manifest what you want.
The Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is a really powerful tool to help you with manifesting and creating your world from the inside out.
What is the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale?
The Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is a great tool to use to measure your frequency. Different emotions vibration at different frequencies.
Heavier, “negative” emotions vibrate slower, and lighter more “positive” emotions vibrate faster. To your higher self, everything is neutral, however, as human beings, we interpret things as negative and positive.
You attract to you the things that are on the same vibrational level as you. If you are in a lower vibration, you attract lower vibrating things and if you are in a higher vibration, you attract higher vibrating things to you.
For example, let’s say that you are in a really bad mood and go to the store. The people you interact with at the store likely won’t be very pleasant. The store clerk may be rude, or you may run into things that feel icky. People may not be as considerate to you while you are out.
However, if you are feeling great and you go to the store, most people will be kind and pleasant to you. The store clerk may be extra nice, and people will go out of their way the make your experience more enjoyable.
How do I know? Because this happens to me all the time!
When you are feeling good, then you are vibrating at a different level than when you feel bad. Therefore, you want to move up the scale to have a different experience. Plus, it feels good to feel good!
The higher the number on the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale, the denser and heavier it is. That is why things such as depression and insecurity are high numbers. The frequency they give off is heavy and they move slowly. That is why you literally move slower when you feel depressed.
The lower the number, the less dense and the lighter the energy. The lower numbers feel better, and they move faster. That is why you have energy and want to move around when you are in those lower numbers, you feel better and want to move with the energy.
All these emotions have been measured and have frequency numbers. There is scientific evidence that different emotions vibrate differently. In this post, we aren’t going to go over the frequency, but keep it simple with a simple number from 1 – 22.

How to Use the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale
The best way to use the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is to notice how you feel and then try to move up the scale.
Every day, write down which number your dominant vibration is at and then aim to move up one or two levels the next day. Or you can check in several times a day, notice where you are at, and then make a commitment to move up the scale the same day.
I highly recommend that you write it down because it helps you to see what number you are at most of the time and then you can make adjustments to move up. It’s also helpful to see what number you are at and what manifests. Keeping a journal is very beneficial for tracking your progress.
Personally, whenever I’m at number 4, Positive Expectation, things manifest really fast for me. I find anything higher than 4 and really good things happen.
Why Move Up the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale?
The first reason to move up the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is because it feels good. You likely want to feel good and not feel bad.
The lower numbers are heavy and dense and come with heavier emotions. While the higher numbers feel really good, are lighter, and come with happier emotions.
The second reason is that the higher up you go, the faster the energy is. Therefore, things manifest faster for you. You are more easily able to manifest at #3 Enthusiasm / Eagerness / Happiness, than at #16 Discouragement.
You can still manifest at the lower numbers as you are manifesting all the time, however, the things you want to manifest will happen a lot quicker at the higher numbers.
When you move up the Abraham Hicks emotional scale, you will naturally do things differently and feel different. You may not even realize that the actions you take are because of your higher vibration because they feel so natural.
As an example, when I was meditating all the time and really working on raising my vibration, I naturally quit alcohol, stopped playing candy crush, stopped eating processed food, craved healthy food (which I hadn’t ever wanted before), and lost over 35 pounds. I didn’t try to do any of these things, they happened naturally. This is because I was higher up the emotional scale and everything was much easier.
I found that when my dominant vibration is around #4 (Positive Expectation), good things happen for me without me trying.
Try it out for yourself, and notice what happens when you are in the higher numbers, and then notice what manifests when you are in the lower numbers. I find that when working with the law of attraction, it’s important to take some notes and pay attention to what is happening both internally and externally.
How to Move Up the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale
• Start Slow
It’s really hard to jump from #22 Depression up to #1 Appreciation in one moment. You have to work your way up slowly.
Maybe within one day, you go from #22 Depression up to #14 Worry. That is still quite a bit higher.
Then the next day, you work up from there to #5 Optimism. Once you get there you can focus on working up to #1.
Your emotions will fluctuate throughout the day. You also may not start out your next day where you left off the previous day. It might be higher or lower. It doesn’t matter, just try your best to always be working your way up.
• Meditate
Meditation helps you to move up the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance scale. When you meditate, you calm your mind and release resistance. This moves you up into higher energy.
You can be sure that when you meditate you are moving yourself up a few levels on the scale. The more often you meditate, the easier it is to stay in those higher vibrations.

• Don’t Resist Your Feelings
If you are feeling emotions that are lower on the vibrational scale, don’t resist them as this will put resistance into your vibration. Acknowledge them and then choose to slowly move up the scale.
When you allow your emotions to be there, it doesn’t mean they will stay. In fact, that gives them the correct energy to change because you aren’t fighting against them. Notice them and then do things to move your vibration up.
• Visualize
Begin visualizing what you want as if you have it already. This will help you to get into the feeling state of having it and ultimately move up the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale.
If you can feel as though you have it, your emotions shift to higher vibrational ones such as excitement, passion, and positive expectation. This helps to keep you in a high vibration as well as move up even higher. It also brings your manifestations to you quicker.
• Gratitude
Practicing gratitude is really powerful for moving up the emotional scale. It is at the top of the scale and therefore has a really high vibration.
If you spend even just a few minutes in the morning focusing on and feeling grateful for what you do have, you will move up the scale as well as manifest more things in your life to feel grateful for.
Whatever feelings you have, you bring more things of similar vibration to you.
• Script
Scripting helps you move up the Abraham Hicks emotional scale because it puts you in a different energy. When you script, you are writing out what you want as if you already have it.
I’ve found that scripting has helped me release a lot of resistance. I simply wrote down what I wanted as if it was already happening. It felt like it was true which moved me up the emotional scale.
You can script what you want today or what you want a year from now as if it’s happening now. Do whatever feels best to you. The whole point of this is to feel better.
• Breathing Exercises
Deep breathing or any sort of breathwork session help to purge stuck emotions in your body. This ultimately helps you move up the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale.
When you release old, stagnant, limiting energy then you open up space for newer higher vibrational energy to enter.
• Sleep
Sleeping resets your vibration. You can always wake up and think of the same things as the day before or you can choose to think different thoughts.
After a good night’s sleep is your chance to move up the Abraham Hicks emotional scale. When you wake up in the morning, choose to think better feeling thoughts to move up the scale. Do it as soon as you remember. This will set your vibration high from the beginning of the day.
• Journaling
There are many different types of journaling you can do. Essentially journaling helps you to release the thoughts in your head and gain a new perspective.
If you keep these thoughts in your head, then there’s no room to receive new information. So, journaling removes them from your mind and puts them on paper. Many people have had huge ‘ah ha’ moments from journaling alone.

• Do Something for Someone Else
Doing something kind for someone else will raise your own vibration and move you up the vibrational scale. Even doing something small for someone can really raise your vibration, as well as theirs.
It can be as simple as letting someone into your lane in traffic, holding the door open for them, smiling at a stranger, or buying someone a coffee.
The most important thing is to do someone nice for someone because you want to. If you are doing it to get something in return, then it won’t move you up the scale but keep you where you are. However, if it is genuine, it will do wonders for your vibration.
• Self-Care Ritual
Doing something that feels good and to pamper yourself will move you up the emotional scale.
This can be something super simple such as taking a bath with Epsom salts or grabbing your favorite latte. Whatever helps you to unwind and de-stress will help to relieve tension and move your vibration up.
• Fresh Air & Nature
Fresh air and nature are a really simple, yet effective way to move up the vibrational scale. Earth/Gaia is very high vibrational, so connecting with it will help to bring that same energy to you. I recommend getting some fresh air every day, even if it’s going outside for 5 minutes a day.
Being around trees and anything organic is very grounding which helps to bring your vibration up. So, go sit by a tree and absorb all the good feeling energy.
• Animals
Your pets and any other animals around you are great for raising your vibration. Animals are very connected to nature, and they are high vibrational creatures.
Spending time with your pets and petting them will instantly raise your vibration.
You could also go out into nature and watch the birds and any other animals that show up as they will help you to move up the vibrational scale as well.
• Change Your Environment
Sometimes moving up the Abraham hicks emotional scale requires you to change your environment. While I agree that we can all make the best of where we are, a change of scenery can do wonders for your mood.
This change doesn’t have to be permanent (but can be). It can be as simple as getting out of the house and going somewhere that feels good. Or going to a different place for lunch than your usual place.
Or it could be a more permanent change such as moving houses or changing your workplace.
If you are in an environment that feels heavy, it’s worth it to try and change it up and see how you feel in the new place. The most important thing is how it feels and that you are always moving towards places that feel good to you.

The Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale is a great tool for you to see where you are and what is manifesting in your life. There is no wrong place to be and no judgment if you find yourself on the lower end of the scale.
Moving up the scale usually happens in increments as you do things and think things that feel better and better to you.
When you do find yourself at the higher frequencies, it is a great time to manifest what you want! From here visualize and think about having what you want as if it is yours already. You can do this at the lower frequencies as well, however, you may have more resistance and your efforts won’t bring you the results you want.
I highly recommend everyday recording what your dominant vibration is and then making some notes as to what happened that day. This way, you can connect the dots and learn what works best for you.
